How is it that Kimono fabric can look old, new, vintage and contemporary all at once? Somehow these earrings capture the essence of all of these things with additional measures of delicate and sweet thrown into the mix. The soft blues and muted colours are accented by the steel blue-coloured, freshwater pearls and the most gorgeous dusky pink, firepolished crystals. A wonderfully wistful combination! The centres are made from cotton Kimono fabric imported from Japan which I’ve hand-stitched to give shape and dimension like tiny pillows, then nestled securely inside naturally patinaed brass settings (see photo 4), designed to age gracefully with time. All of my earrings are sent carefully packaged in one of my signature ‘Love, Angela’ ruby boxes (example in photo 5) with padded lining to keep them extra safe in transit and perfect for gift giving or as a divine gift to yourself!
